For Parents
We invite you and your child to be a part of our research! Our studies are for children between the ages of 3 and 13 and we would love for your family to participate.
We are interested in how children learn about the social world, including children's understanding of social categories such as race, gender, socioeconomic status, and social inequality.
Studies usually take 30 minutes or less and are scheduled at your convenience. In a typical session, children will do a few short, interactive activities, such as reading stories, playing games, looking at pictures on a computer or tablet, or answering questions. Families will receive a $3 Amazon gift card as a thanks for participating.
We are open for appointments on select Saturdays between 10am and 5pm.
To schedule an in-person appointment, please pick a 30-minute time slot using Calendly below. In-person research is conducted at our research center at Haverford College (map below).
We look forward to having you and your child in for a study soon!
